The ‘speed’ learning wine and food program is designed for busy people who wish to improve their wine and food knowledge in a professional and fun environment over two Sunday’s from 10:45am to 3:00pm.

The program will provide participants with an unprecedented insight into the world of taste, wine and food matching in just 8 hours. The course will markedly improve your enjoyment of food and wine for the rest of your life.

Wine educator Karen Goldspink from Wine Wisdom works closely with Chef Jan Gundlach from flavours to present an innovative wine and food appreciation event.

 

 

The course includes

 

 

·       What is it?

·       How do you do it?

·       How do you go on to develop your skills?

White, Red & Sparkling sessions cover:

·        Varieties, styles and their characteristics

·         Viticulture and winemaking techniques

·         Maturation and the effects of all the above on the end product

·        A wine tasting, using benchmark varieties and styles, using the assessment techniques learned

·        A wine and food matching exercise followed by lunch
